THE SCUBA SHACK        CLASSES  PADI Open Water Diver class The cost of the PADI Open Water class is $129. This class includes the knowledge development and confined water training portion of the Open Water Diver certification, as well as all the equipment needed. Once you have completed your knowledge development and confined water training, you must complete your Open Water dives within 6 months to receive your completed certification. There is a set of student manuals which is required for each student. The cost is $55. There is also a DVD at $35 which can be shared among families and friends taking class together.  With a purchase of a Mask, Snorkel, Fins, & Booties during your class, you will receive a free gear bag valued at $40. Class Schedule Our Open Water Diver class meet on the evening of the 1^st Thursday of every month, and the following Saturday and Sunday. Thursday's class meets at the Scuba Shack at 6:30 PM and finishes around 8:30 PM. Saturday's class meets at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center, located at 701 5^th Street in Frederick, at 8:00 AM and finishes around 4:00 PM. Sunday's class typically meets again at the Scuba Shack at 9:00 AM and usually completes around 4:00 PM. Private courses are also available. Check with us on what works best for your schedule.  2012 Open Water Diver class schedule Session 1: January 5, 7, 8 Session 2: February 2, 4, 5 Session 3: March 1, 3, 4 Session 4: April 12, 14, 15 Session 5: May 3, 5, 6 Session 6: June 7, 9, 10 Session 7: July 12, 14, 15 Session 8: August 2, 4, 5 Session 9: September 13, 15, 16 Session 10: October 4, 6, 7 Session 11: November 1, 3, 5 Session 12: December 6, 8, 9  The Open Water training portion of your certification is typically on the last weekend of every other month. Locations vary depending on the season and the Weather. Costs range from $150.00 to $275.00 depending on location. This cost includes all open water equipment rental, instruction, lodging during remote trips, and access fee's. 2012 Advanced Diver class schedule Session 1: January 28 & 29 Session 2: March 24 & 25 Session 3: May 19 & 20 Session 4: July 28 & 29 Session 5: September 29 & 30 Session 6: November 17 & 18 The Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, New Mexico Snorkeling Class Snorkeling classes are available on the 1st night of any of our regularly scheduled Scuba Classes. The cost is $10. This includes any equipment you may need. Refresher Class If it's been over a year since you've been diving, our Refresher class will get you back in the water. Our class price is $50.00 and includes everything you need. Please check with us for a convenient schedule. Pool Sessions All of our pool sessions are open to any certified diver for the cost of the pool fees only. In addition to this we also offer advanced and rescue workshops. If your schedule doesnt fit with our class schedule, please check with us. We are able to setup pool times almost every weekend.
